The terrorists aim is to divide and conquer. Remarkably we’re living in an age where we’re being openly carved apart by politicians with a hidden agenda. Power hungry alt right despots manipulate our compassion for their own material gain. We as a people fail to understand why this terror exists, where the terrorists come from, why they target innocent people on the street, or how the terrorist views life with such distain and insignificance. The terrorist doesn’t fear the threat of war on his people because he is already war torn, only by walking through hell can you bring hell to others like this. The Alt Right tell us not all Muslims are terrorists but all terrorists are Muslims. They tell us that immigrants are Muslims, and by their logic all immigrants are terrorists. The war on terror has become a war on Islam, the Alt’s propaganda has created a fear of the unknown, sown the seeds of sectarian violence, and replaced our natural tendency to care for those in need with feelings of uncertainty and antipathy. If you want your child to grow up in an environment you can be proud of, that resembles the freedom you were gifted by your parents then remember that you must not teach them fear. Don’t teach them hate. Every act of violence is a victory for Trumptators. Every terror attack is a victory for Brexit. Every time we are divided is a victory for the terrorist. Be strong London.
